EDA offers Strategy Workshops and Training in SPM for MFIs, TA providers, microfinance investors, researchers
2-4 day workshops cover the key elements of SPM. Workshops may be conducted to give an overall perspective and introduction to different institutions. Workshops can be customised for individual institutions.

Mentoring MFIs to introduce SPM within operations: EDA directly works with MFIs to guide strategic application of social performance and client protection principles. Support to social investors to work with microfinance partners. We are currently working with Oikocredit and Opportunity International (Australia) and partner MFIs in India and Uganda.
Action research case studies: EDA contributed to the Imp-Act [link] case studies documenting introduction of SPM. Including MFIs in Cambodia and the Philippines. Ongoing research in India (supported by Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Ford Foundation)
